Old laptop with Intel 82830m - flash games? I bought a Dell Latitude C400 last year for $150 for the purpose of it being a netbook for my college classes. Other than the battery life being pretty short, it has worked out great. The only thing that I complain about is the resolution (max is 1024x768) and using flash on the Internet. Youtube videos work fine with no lag, but if I try to play any flash type games like for instance anything on addictinggames.com, most of the games run about half speed (or less). The Intel 82830m integrated graphics drive is up to date, but I know its "oldness" is holding the flash games back. Am I screwed?

I want to make a Flash Sim Game IE. 1st person click areas and characters to interact-similar to a Dating Sim? I have used Flash before and am confortable with the interface, however I am only a novice and have used it to make stopframe movies and movies made using Tweens etc. A webpage with a step-by-step tutorial would be helpful, books would also be helpful. psp full games for ofw and idea by me.? ok firstly i do not encourage piracy as it makes the creators loose money but i buy all my games, but i had something lingering in my head which i want to ask. ok well firstly everyone knows that cfw is custom firmware and that the purpose of it is to play pirated games custom themes videos and whatnot, now everyone also knows that cfw or rather known as homebrew does not work on ofw as homebrew and pirated games do not have certificates etc.. that make full games work, now when you try homebrew or games a psp will reject it by saying unable to boot file or any other error, but thats not the point, many people are scared of installing cfw because of rumours of it bricking a psp and this is understandable because a psp is a preciouse item to have. now 1 more thing when you download demos on psn they are within i file size as to restrict piracy meaning a full game is either 800 to 1.8gb in size and a demo between 7mb to 40mb well you can see the diffirence meaning the psp can tell weather what you are booting is pirated or unsighned software. now myi diea are of 2 things 1 is what about making a program or whatnot to change the size the psp and pc reads the file as so example: a game is 1.2gb and retype it as 30mb, well its a thought but the next problem signitures and signing well we could collect info from demos and software and put it together to make a game work on ofw. or have anyof you heard of portals?? well they let you play games and stuff through your psp browser now i obviously know that you it would be hard to add an iso to a portal but nothing is impossible, just like flash games that we play in portals how about we intergrate or somehow make an iso playable through a portal? right now your probably thingking this guy is talking crap! well dont take me for that because i think people are looking to close to what the games a related to and trying to find out how to make them work on ofw, i think we need to look away from that and look at things like psp software exp go!cam demos and portals as a way of making games work on a psp. i agree it will be a while before anyone says eurika!!! or THATS IT!!! and i also agree the sony will probably patch the problem as soon as its discovered, what i also think is that stupid people that make videos on youtube all displaying the same bloody tutorial on how to add a demo or my favourite 10 portals or how to add a theme, WE DONT NEED all these videos upwards of 3000+ videos on the same thing when you go the the websites that we download the goodies from they supply us with the informnation on how to add them and put them on a psp, all these people on youtube making the videos are doing 2 things being sheep making the same video as the person before and blatently advertising to sony what they need to patch up, and as for portals why do we need videos on youtube saying my favourite 10 portals when there are only 10 bloody portals to downloas as to date. i think that if we have any future to all these psp goodies we need to stop advertising how to do things like install pandora batterys and memory sticks and add games and portals on places like youtube where some worker at sony will just see the video talk to the boss or other workers and find a way of patching or stopping these goings on. we need to confine the tutorials and information on websites only where they allready supply info on how to do their sepecific hack, so that sony has a harder time finding these websites findiing out how to stop it. all these people on youtube who add unesecary videos over and over again who think they are helping are just making it worse for the psp hacking community as every new video added on had to do this or that on the psp is 1 more video sony can relate to take the info and shut the hack down via a new update... we wont make any progress if we have people like this.. 1 of you people reading this must agree with me, we need to remove the videos confine the hacks to websites and use the tutorials provided on the website. case rested. sorry for my typing errors, i was typing quickly as i always do.

laptop adobe flash player problem plz help me does ram affect the speed of this plz? my daughter plays games that are run by adobe flash player she has the up to date version 10 of the flash player but when there is a lot of this happening (moving) on the screen it slows right down . how can we sort this out does the ram affect this she only has 1 gb of ram if we go to 2gb will it be faster on the busy games thanks

Question on dating sim for girls.? I'm actually planning on creating a flash dating sim with all original characters rather than copying and pasting characters from well-known animes as I think I'd enjoy it better, being able to create my own characters and work with their own personalities without worrying about out-of-character issues. And no, it's none of most of the stuff you get on Newgrounds. Do you think it would be a good idea, and if so, what would you like to see in the game itself? The game will be up as soon as my artists send me the pictures for the guys so I can deal with the more technical stuf and have debugged it - though it will be updated with time as I'm starting with one guy and planning to expand to a total of eight.

Whenever I use Sli with my graphics cards the screen on my games flashes blue..? I set my nvidia 9800gt cards to do sli and whenever I start up a game the screen flashes blue .. but i can do normal things on the computer and the screen is fine.... ( the drivers are up to date)

Can someone help me with getting this flash game to work? I was playing this flash game, (called Beaterator, where you can create your own "mixes and beats") But anyways, it's a flashgame, and it won't seem to load a certain part, there is a function called " loop crafter " where you make your own sound loops, but when I go to replay it, it won't reload it. It worked a couple times but now it wont load.. just stays stuck at 0 out of 1k total. Could something on my side be blocking it from loading? How do i flash my xbox 360's firmware so i can play backups of my games.? I need to be able to burn iso files onto a disk and be able to play them on my xbox, and i need an up to date, thourough guide, with loads of pictures to do it. The games page won't load up on King.com-help and support are anything but..... any ideas? I upgraded a couple of months ago and all was fine. Then it stopped working and I was getting an error:-1000 and the game page wouldn't load. Somehow I managed to get back on at a later date but its happened repeatedly since and I haven't been able to get on at all for the past month. It gets as far as the loading page then nothing! Help and support are worse than useless, suggesting all the things I'd already tried. I use mozilla firefox, changing to IE is even worse as it states I don't have flash player (which I do) and attempts to install it - unsuccessfully. Flash, Shockwave and various browsers are all up to date. The "secure game control" isn't on my computer and its apparently too much like hard work to send me a link to redownload this. I'm pretty sure a registry cleaner removed the game control but it wouldn't allow me to restore (since deleted the program). Searched Google with no joy and even got a mate to upgrade on my pc hoping the activex download would pop up -it didn't By upgrade I meant from being a normal player to a gold player. My OS is Windows XP Thanks - tried that and once they'd exhausted their limited knowledge of usual problems they stopped answering emails! So no joy and no way of getting any further forward either. Is there a way to stop my videos and games from running (lagging) slow? I need help finding out as to what i need to do in order to make my games and videos run faster. Youtube seems to run smooth, every couple of seconds you can see a very, very slight lag. When im watching videos that aren't run by flash player such as videos on nbc.com or hulu.com they lag alot more. On games it lags both online and offline. It doesnt lag online very much enless it has high graphics. My offline games with good graphics such as need for speed pro-street lag a WHOLE LOT! so much i can barely play it. Combat arms also lags but not to bad. I have a very nice video card up to date, (i would tell you the amount of G-force but i lost the case) and my flash players are up to date also. I have alot of ram avalable too, like 80 percent. What can i do? please help!

Javascript or flash player problems? some websites that use javascripts and flash player dont work, like newgrounds for example, when i go to a game or a video and click "watch" or "play", nothing pops up. my cookies are enabled, jacascript is enabled, and so is flash player and they are both up to date. yet, youtube works and google video works. what the heck is going on?

How to get around a web filter? Yes i know there is already questions but none of them help as they are out dated now, filters are more advanced. Along with that i DONT CARE about "oo you should be doing work" well there are times when there is absolutely nothing to do... Anyways i need something like a proxy. I cant get on proxies because the filter just blocks them, and if they arent blocked, after a few days they will be. Is there a free proxy thing that i can download and run off my flash drive or something? The filter blocks sites based on keywords now "Games, proxy, etc" and it even blocked google for some time until we all complained. I dont know the name of the filter because all it says is "the site has been filtered because it has GAMES in the keywords" Can someone help, please!

I cleaned my computer and now my games won't load; whats wrong? I was having issues with my computer so I did some cleanup by deleting registery, cookies, drive cleanups, virus scans, etc. My computer is working just fine now but when I go to play online games (specifically king.com) they load to a black screen. I made sure my acive x, direct x, flash, and shockwave were all up to date. I also adjusted my security and other internet options with no luck. Any ideas on what the problem may be? My computer is working great after I cleaned it; except for the games. A system restore would help narrow down the problem but I don't want to undo everything I just did. These are online games that won't load.

My mum got a new laptop thats more than up to date it is amazing it has so much techonalgy so when she told me i could load my sims games on as the other laptop had broke i was over the moon. So i loaded on the sims 2, sims 2 freetime, sims 2 seasons and pets and i decided against loading in the apartment life cos i dont think its very great but to the point i loaded the game up as normal then i clicked on strangetown and it loaded then i got the shock of my life when the floor of the neibour hood was flashing away i thought wtf so i went onto a house and on all the houses the sims are blurry and the walls flash i mean surly my laptop so up to date it can take it? please please please help me!

Why are dating sims so popular? I played several dating games to see if I liked them, but I only liked one of them, and it wasn't completely considered a dating sim! lol. (if your wondering, it's called speed dating.) I thought that they were kind of pointless and found no enjoyment out of them. I mean the answers to the questions are obvious and the characters tend to repeat the SAME questions over and over again -_-. lol. I really liked speed dating because it was very straight forward. You try to answer the question quickly and correctly, according to that persons personality. After a couple good answers, he/she likes you and you move on to the next person. dating question. Guys I need help.? I recently got out of a long term relationship and I am ready to date. I met a guy online, not actually looking online we just happened to talk. we talked on the phone for like 2 weeks and then we met out of the blue at our semi local mall. we saw a movie and it was great. The next date I took him to our local fair and at first I didn't think he liked it, he was quite and didn't look like he was enjoying himself. My video drive does not recognize my games. Reason? My video drive recognizes audio cds but not my video games. When I put one in, my D drive still says its cd-rw. I deleted my upper and lower registry keys, whatever that may mean, and there was no change. The light on the tower flashes in recognition when the disc is inserted but that's as far as it goes. Does anyone have any information on what may be wrong? I am up to date on the driver. I'm running windows xp. Thanks It is not only a cd-rw. It just refuses to recognize other formats. This was not a problem before. I've installed games previously but it has been some time since I've done so. The driver is up to date.

Recently my computer has acquired some rather annoying glitches, please help!? OK so recently my computer has been having a lot of problems. One of them is that at startup it will load windows and I can log in, but once I log in it takes several minutes for me to be able to do anything. I have AIM 6.0 and Microsoft Outlook load at startup, and I can't do anything until they finish loading. Whenever I put my cursor on the toolbar or the start button it just turns into the hourglass. However, even when I take these apps off of my startup it still takes a long time to allow me to do anything. My second, more annoying problem, is that my computer lags a lot when I play video games online, particularly Warcraft 3 but the problem is not limited to WC3. It also happens when I play any type of flash game. I had thought that it was my internet connection but I upgraded from 6Mbps to 16Mbps with no change. In addition I played a game offline and the gameplay was still extremely choppy and slow, and it did not settle down after a few minutes. I don't know what the problem could be. I have been using this computer to play this and other games for years with no problems and now all of a sudden it doesn't quite work. I have done a disk cleanup, a virus scan, a defrag, and as much of a registry clean as I could get with free registry fix software. I am also up to date with the latest windows software, if that matters. My computer is a Dell Latitude D820. It is about 3.5 years old. I use Symantec as my anti-virus software. So how can I fix these problems? Also, could installing Fedora 10 have caused any of these problems?

Macbook Vs. iMac? Which is better for me? I want to get a new Mac computer but can't decided whether to get a Macbook or an iMac. My uses for a computer tend to be mostly for watching movies & listening to music, video & music editing, & just browsing online. I used to be a big gamer but now I don't play games on the computer (asides from flash games online) I'm bout to go to college soon. Whether i get a MB or an iMac i intend to get the min. setting due to money and my current computer is about 5 years old and though I am an up-to-date-with tech nerd wanting the latest graphics and etc, i'm fine with this computer and as i said i don't intend to play any games like Bioshock on my computer, (i have an xbox 360) don't need the extra 2.8GHz nor 2+ GB memory. I have an external HD & a 20 in. monitor so HD and monitor size isn't an issue. My main issue is, i do tend to download a LOT. So i keep the computer on for days trying to download the 2 GB files. Can the MB handle being left plugged in over night or even for days?

How do I insert the first user via PHPMyAdmin? I met a guy who wanted a simple fix on his site. This has now turned into the simple fix, along with realisation that half the site is messed up. It's a database driven (PHP/MySQL) flash games site, with user logins, admin login to manage games etc etc. There are no users! none at all in the users table. Sooo, what I'm trying to do is get at least one user entered into MYSQL. Then I take it we'll be able to add other users, games, categories etc through the site's admin panel, as we should be able to. Table - users Fields - ID, username, password, email, join date, administrator (integer with length of 1 so I assume 0 or 1, neither works) and admin notes Now, all I want to do is add the first user. I've done that through PHPmyadmin but its not working - I can't login with it. I set the Function on the password to MD5 and it generated an MD5 hash for the password, which is what the site is using, however I can't login...not even saying wrong pass but telling me that user doesn't exist at all! Choosing a laptop? I am looking for a new compurter. I own a Dell from like 2003 and it is so SLOW and kind of out of date. I was looking at Dell laptops and found the Inspiron 1525, is this a good computer? Basically all I will be doing on it is chatting on AIM, myspace stuff like that, checking email, playing simple games (nothing like Halo or stuff like that) just Flash Games, and going on you tube. The base price of the Inspiron 1525 is $499 but i added some of the other components I wanted to it on Dell.com and it came out to be about $566. My mom said this computer will not be able to handle my every day tasks, is this true? If not do you have any other recomendations for a diffrent desktop to fit my needs. Also i am on a budget. Why is my computer crashing when i run disk cleanup? Every single time i click disk cleanup, it goes like 3 bars, then the computer restarts itself. When i'm playing City of Heroes, the game locks up in less than 10 minutes, i can just be standing there doing nothing, and it still crashes. The same with crappy little, non-graphic heavy flash games, the whole computer just locks up. It's locking up watching videos also. Now at first i thought it was the graphics card. I had an ATI Radeon 9550.. I just installed a GeForce 5200 card, which, should be compatible with City of Heroes.. but still, 10 minutes in, it locks up. I have no idea what's going on or how to fix it. All drivers on this thing are up to date, I've run every scan possible, with no luck. There was a fan unplugged inside the computer, so i thought it might be a heat issue, but the fan has since been plugged in, the side of the case left off, and another fan outside aiming at it. so it's not a heat issue. I dunno what to do here. It's weird. it only locks up when it's playing a video, a flash game, or a something like city of heroes. and just recently, any program that scans the computer for errors. I thought it was just the disk cleanup, now it's things like RegistryFix, and only at certain points in the scan. The scan, before it locks up, is picking up plenty of errors, but getting to the point where i can remove them is becoming impossible. The geforce drivers are all up to date, as well as everything else. I really can't figure this out. It's really just outta the blue, over the past month or so, it's just gradually gotten worse.

Hangman Game Help? I'm having trouble with my scoring system in my flash based game hangman. I want the user's score to increase by 1 everytime they get a word correct, then display in another scene the number words correct. My wife nags me about my gaming.? My wife and I have been married for several years and have two young children. I've been a gamer since I could pick up a control, and she has known about my gaming since we started dating. I would play games while she watched and even slept in my room when we were in school. I was probably gaming too much but I remember us doing a lot of things together as well. Well flash forward a few years and we're married with kids. My gaming is definitely not what it used to be but i've managed to stay with it through the years. I pick the kids up on my way home and get them something to eat and started on their chores/homework or just get them entertained. After I do all of that and maybe some laundry or whatever it might be that i was asked to do, i do what i love, i game for a couple of hours. I love my family like a crazy person and I've made several changes in my life to get rid of destructive behavior such as drugs and alcohol, why can't i have my games? I make attempts to include myself with some of the things she likes to do (and honestly it's pure torture, i cant stand the t.v. shows she watches and her fascination with what celebrities are doing... seriously who cares if Britney Spears is acting like a moron). But I do make attempts, she hasn't returned the favor as far as gaming is concerned, she hasn't made an attempt to find out why I can spend hours playing a game if there isn't something more important that needs to be done. It's about a xbox 360 i want to buy plz help well I been looking for a older 360 but not that old cuz I want a 360 with a falcon chip in it...reason why My friend has a 360 he got this year around January that has the falcon chip .. My friend got his 360 flash so he can play copy games...it saves him alot of money...he knows how to copy games..and told me he knows someone who can flash a xbox... and my friend can copy what ever games i want for free... I wanted a ps3 but I'm going to wait on that maybe till the price drops or next year....but for right now i want something to play madden that is coming out...i'm sick of playing it on ps2..and i don't feel like spending right now 534 something plus 64 for a game..for the ps3.. and more games...you know like gta 4 which i been wanted to play too!... anyways i don't care about xbox live..never use online play before..tho my friend always using it even when his xbox is flash... so yeah...well my question is ...i saw on some sites like ebay ...and circuit-city that is selling the xbox 360 60gb go pro.. i know the newer 60gb are coming out in August .. well i was wondering if the manufacturer dates for the older 60gb,,, was before May of 08..cause the preson who does the flash said he wont be able to flash it... if its Hitatchi 79, and anything May of 08' or later...and also the new benQ drive...those currently cannot be mod yet.,..and also does the older 60gb go pro has the falcon chip ps: I know about the ring of death..but the guy who is flashing it,,,can also fix xbox's real cheap Thanks to anyone who answer!!!!

How can I fix my Sims 2 flashing lights? I have all packs My Sims 2 game has all teh expansions and all teh stuff packs except Family fun and Celebration stuff, and ,y walls are flashing red and my neighborhood is flashing purple! I got the Sims 2 Pets Patch and it said it was up to date. How can I fix this without uninstalling anything or getting a new graphics card?

Which free video card upgrade should I download? I have just purchased The Sims 2 Pets expansion pack, and have all other Sims games installed. Obviously The Sims 2 is very demanding of any OS, and requires an up-to-date video card. I did have an SiS 650_651_M650_M652_740 model card installed, (version 6.14.0010.3620, English) but my walls kept flashing red, as, I understand, is a common glitch with this expansion pack for those of us with older computers. I subsequently downloaded a new video/graphics card, which is now the bane of my existence, having reduced my display from a maximum of 256bits, to just 4bits. Images are barely viewable, and most of my colour is now a blend of greyscale and very vague coloured dots. I therefore desperately need advice on what card I should be downloading. As stated, my system previously ran on SiS 650_651_M650_M652_740 so I need an upgrade to that, I require the return of my 256bit colour, and hopefully improved functioning for my game. 10 points to someone who can provide me with the name of an appropriate download and url for its location. I know you can download upgrades/new drivers at SiS.com, I'm just not entirely sure which one to use... also, everything on my computer is now about five times larger than it was - icons, pop ups, everything. why would he sign in but not read the email from me? we were supposed to go out this weekend...? I hate online dating but im trying it now... last weekend i started talking w/ this guy... and this weekend, we were supposed to go out. Anyway, i signed into that stupid dating website and saw he was online - but then my email to him was unread. The FIRST thing that any normal person does is read their email. Even if he isn't into me, why would he not read it? It shows you if they delete your email w/o reading it & he did not do that. He has been very nice up to this point & i dont even know what this is about - but i'm just annoyed. I don't like all of the games that go w dating & online its 10x worse. I just don't get why you'd sign on and see the flashing "NEW MAIL" link and not read it. He could see it was from me... so why not just read it and not reply if he's not interested anymore? UGH.
